Sketchin 0005 - Zen like! =)

They call it 'Spring-Cleaning'. This is right in the middle of a very brief, but intensely cold winter day in Bengalooru.

I went on a determined cleaning spree anyway. With not enough work area on my table the prety much useless printer is banished. And Voila! The place looks much better. More 'my space', than a dumping ground for junk papers/bills etc thrown in from passers by (not-sayin-who.)

Feel a bit Zen-like now... Free.. Spacious.. Happy! I wish I were on a beach.

Its not perfect. But i had to put this image on paper quickly or it would fade away from my mind. My mind getting caught up in other thoughts which are sometimes vapid and inane. but mostly jumping to the next thought.

Haven't worked on much since. But here are some works from before this blog. Just some random thoughts. Some magic moments when what got drawn on paper, was what was exactly in my head. Others..they just happened, one line to the next.

I have gone back to basics and relearning techniques to draw faces. its still a struggle to maintain the face when i want to draw the same face from a different angle though.

Nevertheless...here are a few sketches...

Weird Obsession!! OWLS

They are the most fascinating creatures i think. All Creatures on Earth/ this universe as far as it exists, are extraordinary. But I feel that owls are very intriguing. Much like cats, their stare is mesmerising to the extent that you would seem hypnotised.

A Chilly Dark Saturday

What a day! Quite a chilly Saturday we have going on in Bengalooru! Woke up this morning and went right back under the warm and toasty covers.


Feet snug in warm socks, switched on the PC...and the power went. This day and age, not being able to log on to the internet is very aggravating. I have to start my day with chatting with friends. Checking the Celeb gossip. looking for the pictures of the most mundane/random things.

A New Beginning... Again

Blogging... How hard can that be right? No, it  took me many long days to finally start one that i hope has some meaning; to me.

In college we were each asked to create blogs and display our semester works. This, so that recruiters would be able to quietly look through our growth in our academic skills. I am a student of 3D Animation.
