Summer/Monsoon Garden visitors

This summer our trees and bushes have grown big/strong/tall, encouraging the aviary families to come check out the realty. =P

Some regular visitors for food are the common Mynahs, Parakeets and the "Seven Sister" birds (quite the chatty bunch!). Also the Koel, occasionally the Black Drongo, a Great Coucal (which has disappeared, i think my cats caught it), the White Throated Kingfisher and a pair of Bulbuls.

There are a few more. But I haven't figured out their names yet.

Please forgive the layman photography. I am not skilled enough to take pictures of birds that flit so incessantly. =)

Since we've moved to the out skirts of the city, it has been a boon and a bane. Travel is a downer. But I have to say that the mellowness is quite soothing. Its seduces you to do nothing but watch nature in all its glory. And for that I am glad.

A Chilly Dark Saturday

What a day! Quite a chilly Saturday we have going on in Bengalooru! Woke up this morning and went right back under the warm and toasty covers.


Feet snug in warm socks, switched on the PC...and the power went. This day and age, not being able to log on to the internet is very aggravating. I have to start my day with chatting with friends. Checking the Celeb gossip. looking for the pictures of the most mundane/random things.

A New Beginning... Again

Blogging... How hard can that be right? No, it  took me many long days to finally start one that i hope has some meaning; to me.

In college we were each asked to create blogs and display our semester works. This, so that recruiters would be able to quietly look through our growth in our academic skills. I am a student of 3D Animation.
